Cannot login to Yahoo mail with FF3.6.20

I have several email accts with yahoo mail, with usernames and passwords saved by FF. Lately when I select a username and pw and then hit the "sign in" button, nothing happens, the lower left screen shows "Done".

If I navigate to another web page, and then clear history/cookies/etc, and then go back to yahoo mail, I can log in with no problems.

FF is set to allow cookies for https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym

I can access yahoo mail using IE and Chrome, prefer using FF (not ready to upgrade to current version yet)

I did two uninstall/reinstalls and a system restore to earlier this week, did not help

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
