Everytime I try to clear recent history, the box for "Quicktime Unavailable" comes on and my history does not clear. I have tried everything described in the Help and Tool menus, and nothing happens. Help.

And, I would suggest downloading CCleaner to run after you uninstall Quicktime.

I downloaded it free (years ago). Just search for CCleaner, and download free from Pirifoam. CCleaner will clear all the "dead stuff" hanging around your computer after uninstalling programs, plus more!

I love it! I have an older computer and use it several times a day, to delete history, cookies, etc.

FB has this cookie they were busted with before and now have reloaded. So, I am very vigilant about cleaning my computer regularly.

I didn't change any of the settings and have used it for years.

Btw, I don't use Quicktime, so have no idea about that or what you use it for. But I wanted to add this, as when you uninstall programs, many "footprints" are left behind and CCleaner cleans up those footprints.

Good luck! :)
