I have a page bookmarked (thomasjayoord.com) and have been able to access it until recently. Now when I try to access it I get the following message: 501 Method not implemented. A second messages states that "404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." I can access this page with Explorer browser. So, what do I do to fix the problem?

The 501 error is on the server side, indicating that the browser issued a command that it doesn't support. This might be the HEAD method, which only asks for the page info instead of the whole page. Firefox uses it to find out if its cache needs refreshing. Your version of Explorer apparently does not use this. You can either ask the webmaster to use a server which supports it, or tell FF not to use HEAD. I am afraid I cannot help you further with this.

How do I ash Firefox not to use HEAD (whatever it is)?

Does that also happen if you go directly to the main (home) entry of that site instead of using the bookmark?

No, not really. However, I can access the webpage thru Explorer. It is just an extra page I have to open.
