O problema é que o Colar e ir é limitado a URLs completas, e não sabe trabalhar direito com uma URL que já esteja na barra de endereços.

Infelizmente, a opção Colar e Ir funciona somente com links completos.

Há um bug aberto sobre essa função sugerida. Para saber mais, visite o bug #628008.
