Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

My PC is protected with AVAST, Super anti spyware, MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware spybot So no malware installed, but I think xossip collects our mail id when logged in in next tab

I see no online reports to indicate such activities, but it is possible.

Does this issue still occur if the website is in a separate window?

Until the issue is resolved, I recommend avoiding having the Xossip page and Gmail page open at the same time.
