Hej guys, As you're probably well aware, in versions 30 and higher the protocol NTLMv1 was disabled. In case you did not, here are some references to your bug reports regarding this change: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox/Releases/30/Site_Compatibility#Security https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=828183 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=999306 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1023748

Ever since that change, we have a large number of trusted partners and users that can no longer connect to our website. To mitigate this problem, we're looking in a number of solutions that can resolve this issue. One of them would be to make modifications to our website, but that is a very major change on our environment. To validate that change, we are trying to find out which progressions are coming from Mozilla on the situation, and in particular whether Mozilla Firefox will start to support NTLMv2 on non-Microsoft platforms on relatively short notice.

Can you provide us any insight on progress on this matter?

Thank you in advance! Best regards, Hugo

It looks like a patch is in progress, with updates as recent as yesterday, but I don't know how soon it might be finished or whether it will get into Firefox 33.
