OS Linux Mint 17 or Windows Vista 64 mail server uniserve.com , windows mailwasher, Mozillia Thunderbird When I use Windows Vista 64 and the program Mail washer to look at what mail I have on the server I then have mail washer bring up Mozillia Thunderbird and get my mail ... If I return to my mail server again using mail washer a second time I see that all my mail has been cleared ... this is what I would exspect to happen ... Now using Linux Mint 17 Mozillia thunderbird to get my mail it does that OK ... no problems ... Now if I look back at my mail uniserver server again I still see the mail that I just down loaded is still on the unisere mail web site ... how do I ensure that after I down load my thunderbird mail the mail at the uniserve mail server is now deleated ...
