I keep getting these two warnings every time I try to input my new password on one of my email inboxes in my Thunderbird:

Sending of password for user 21006353@student.uwa.edu.au did not succeed. Mail server pop.googlemail.com responded: Username and password not accepted.

AND

Login to server pop.googlemail.com failed.

It then keeps asking me to: Enter your password for 21006353@student.uwa.edu.au on pop.googlemail.com. Every time I re-enter my password, it reverts me back to the first two messages.

Can this please be fixed? I cannot access this email account on Thunderbird. It is NOT the password - it is definitely right. I even went and changed it again to double check.

Thank you.

You may also want to edit your original post and remove your email address from this public forum. Then sign up for an Internet security course at your university. Spammers love to borrow these addresses to send their junk mail from people that are willing to share them.
