1) Can't delete messages - After pressing delete or right clicking/delete. Tried TBird's suggested fix, didn't work.

2) Can't copy, drag, drop messages to folders.

3) Doesn't copy sent msg to Sent folder - Dialog box remains open until I have to physically close it, at which point the message is not copied to the Sent folder.

go to the help menu in Thunderbird, select troubleshooting information click the show profile button.

Note the folder name in Explorer. Add an exception in Defender for the folder and it's sub folders.

Thanks Matt, I did add an exception for C:\Users\L\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\wy20acyg.default, restarted my computer, and reopened TBird, but that did not solve the problem. I would also like to add that I have uninstalled and reinstalled TBird on three different occasions to no avail as well.
