Sometimes the email server at work fails. There are a lot of problems in the IT department at work and I fear that I might lose all my emails. Can I download all my emails so that in case of a server failure at work or even if the IT guys delete my account by mistake, I would still be able to access my emails and print them if I want?

Thanks

One way of doing it is to set up a filter like:

run manual to contains @ copy to local folders/my_backup

BUT run it just once as it will copy everything every time you run it.

You can also mark those you would like to backup, right click, and copy to ...

You could have a backup- add-on like importExporttools. scheduled to make backups every day of your mail-folders (only changed ones)
