Rumors swirl, and yet, where are the references back to a credible source?!

I'm not aware of any changes planned in the near future except that by the end of the year, extensions which are not submitted to Mozilla for verification and signature will no longer be allowed to run. However, Firefox will not be locked down to using the official Add-ons site. Publishers will still be able to host signed extensions on their own sites, and install them through their own installers.

Thanks.. I wondered if I was going to have to download OPERA .. I hate, hate Google Chrome and would cry my heart out to lose one of my MANY EXTENSIONS I have grown to absolutely depend on... True.. no kidding here ?? Thanks
