I do know that there is a need for a default app and that you can long tap and select to copy then open it in the Firefox browser. However since it never loads please make sure you are running Firefox for iOS 1.2.

Second, clear the cache from the Settings menu and try to open the link from the gmail app again. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. From the number of tabs icon in the top right corner, tap to fin the gear icon open on the left when you switch to tile view
  2. In the Settings menu under “Privacy”, tap on “Clear Private Data”
  3. Make sure to switch on the setting that you want to clear then, tap “Clear Private Data”

This will clear all data on the device that you selected. We hope this helped and you are all set to go back to browsing!
