Hi, everytime I open Firefox it crashes after a few seconds. Also opening it in save mode will not stop Firefox to crash. The refurbishing function and reinstall Firefox doesn't help.

My "Absturz-ID" is bp-e1f2c22f-07c7-44b0-a784-bb30e2151229

Can somebody please help me?

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the crashes, and thank you for posting the crash report ID.

Some change in Firefox 43.0.3 has made it incompatible with a component of your G Data security software, specifically the banksafe.dll module.

I do not know of a workaround for this, unfortunately, but it has been submitted to the bug tracking system and hopefully someone will develop a fix or a workaround.

Until then... Firefox 43.0.3 was meant to fix some crashing and performance issues, but is not a security update, so you could reinstall the earlier release (43.0.2). I will send you a link by private message.

You also should set Firefox to inform you of updates but not update them automatically until this issue is resolved, hopefully in the next week or two. This article describes the section of the Options page where you would do that: Advanced panel - Accessibility, browsing, network, updates, and other advanced settings in Firefox.
