I got'em Ed. Re-installed old hdd, imported them to usb stick, re-installed new hdd, and pasted bookmarks into bookmarks menu folder. All's good now. Thanks for your help :)

Are you saying that you saved your Firefox Profile before you replaced the hard drive?

No, i just thought they would be there, like they have in the past, when i'd uninstall one version of Firefox, then install another?

That is a bit different than replacing your hard drive. Firefox very specifically doesn't delete the user Profile when uninstalling Firefox or installing a different version of Firefox. When you replace a hard drive, all your data is still on the old hard drive and the new hard drive has none of your data.

If you still have the old hard drive you probably can recover your data and transfer that data to your new drive & new Firefox installation by connecting the old drive externally thru an adapter such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812232002

If your old HDD is still operational and you have a thumb drive you can recover the profile by reinstalling it and coping the file to the thumb. Then copy it into the new HDD. Move the new bookmark file created by FF to another location. Make the change while FF is not running (you knew that). I have that product from Newegg sold under a different name. It works great and is well worth having around.
