Some websites give that erroneous error when they cannot detect the Flash plugin. Your Question Details > More System Details does not list the Shockwave Flash plugin, so that's my best guess as to why you encountered the problem.

Note: the Flash plugin for Firefox is a separate download from other browsers.

Make sure to uncheck any unwanted extras that may be bundled into that download.
