Can I set a password so that other people can not see my emails after they open ThunderBird on my computer?

I have 2 Profiles in my Thunderbird. When I open the program I can see emails from both Profiles. I want to set the program in such a way that after opening the program nobody could see my emails ( for example when other people use my comupter) and that it would require a password to see my Profiles and the emails on them. Is there such an option i ThunderBird? I haven't found it anywhere. Such function is important for me to protect privicy.

Can you explain your two "profiles"? If you can see both then I'd imagine these are accounts and not profiles.

I wonder why you are not using the security offered by your computer's operating system. The usual reply to this type of query is to recommend individual user accounts, so each user has their own private space, and in Thunderbird this means each user has their own profile. So no-one sees anyone else's email messages

Thunderbird has no intrinsic protection of the type you're asking for. The approach I use would discourage anyone else from using Thunderbird, unless they used the profile manager to choose an appropriate profile at start up.

In short, I use a Master Password and the Startup Master add-on. And User Accounts in the OS.

Sorry, I meant two Accounts (I use different language ThunderBird version). It is because I use 2 mails, for different tasks.

You suggest to create User Account in OS. I will think about using it. I will also read the article.
