With the Write window open, I start an email message. I type a recipient (or use address book) in the To: Field. I press Enter. Cursor drops to second line. I type a name (recipient) and press enter. The Second Recipient moves up to the first line and the First Recipient disappears from view.

If I continue adding recipients, they all jump up to the First Line To and the previous recipient(s) disappear! They are still there though, because to delete them I have to delete them one by one. It's just that they are hidden!!

I need to see them, for multiple reasons. What if I type the wrong name, or wrong address. I cannot double check my entries!!

I have search this forum and others, I cannot find an answer!

Please help! Thanks

    • I just discovered the fix! When creating a new message, I can use my mouse and drag the recipient area down- make it bigger. When I do that more lines are added and the recipients don't jump up to the First Line. However, it wouldn't stick for the next new message.

I search the config editor and found this option: mail.compose.addresswidget.numRowsShown Default;3

I changed it to 5 and closed config editor. Tried new message and was disappointed. Then I thought, close TB for the change. And yep! That did it. Now it's the way I want it for new messages...I can see all the added recipients.

I am posting what I found, in case someone else needs to do it and like me, they couldn't figure it out. (I searched internet and found nothing!)

This has been asked before. However, sometimes it can be due to an addon, so I'll include a link to the other question just in case.

Just to add more info to aid, I've attached a few images.
