I closed 2 browser in Firefox, but need to restore the first one not the last one. How can I restore the one I need?

One browser was opened by a website without my realizing it. When I closed the main Firefox browser with all my tabs, I saw the other window by itself. SO I closed that one. Now Firefox is asking me to Restore previous browser, but tonehat only has one tab = I need to restore the one before that = the one that had all my tabs. How can I do that?

It's the same session. After restoring the session, go to the History menu and look for closed windows to re-open.

I have already taken 3 hours to go through the History and reopened the windows that were open. Problem is with my Facebook - I have a personal one and one for my organization - and I never had any problems logging in. Now my personal one is useless - the navigation bar does not give me the search feature or notification, messages, etc. It basically makes it synonymous with the organization.

I need to go back because the cookies automatically used to sign me in to each. Now it asks me to sign in and I have already had to change my password 3 times, still no success.

Are we talking about the same thing? I don't mean re-opening individual pages. When you have a Firefox session with two windows open, and you close one window, and then close the last window, when you restore your session, the last window opens automatically, and then the History menu should have a section listing previously closed windows you can use to re-open those windows.

The general scheme of the History menu (the one on the graphical application menu) is:

View History Sidebar Clear Recent History... Restore Previous Session --- Restore Closed Tabs -- opens every tab in the list below individual closed tabs from this window --- Restore Closed Windows -- opens every window in the list below individual closed windows, identified by the last active page --- recently accessed addresses regardless of tab or window --- Show All History

About Facebook, I don't understand how it worked before that you were able to save cookies for two different logins without major confusion between the accounts. ??

You should use the File > Exit/Quit as using the X on the windows title bar only closes that one window at a time and not the whole Firefox browser at once.

I don't see File button anywhere on the browser.

You can exit using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

If you do not normally display the classic menu bar, you can tap the Alt key or F10 to display it temporarily.
