Remove the "drop-down icon" from Bookmarks Toolbar
The folder names on the Bookmarks Toolbar have a "drop-down icon" appended, which looks like a upside-down caret. This is completely unnecessary, and oly makes the space between the foldernames bigger. Consequently, my boomarks do not fit on the toolbar (imported from Chrome, where they fit all right)
How can I remove the useless "drop-down icon" (upside-down caret) and only have folder names displayed ?

I have attached a screenshot
See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.
Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.
my screenshot is only about 4KB and it is a .png file. Not sure why the upload does not work.
Anyway, is the screenshot necessary? I hope my description is clear enough, even without the screenshot.
Sorry, Firefox 48 on Win7 does not show a "drop-down arrowhead" for me with a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar when there are bookmarks in the folder. As with all previous versions of Firefox, just the folder itself with no adjournment. Click the folder and a bookmarks drop-down appears.
Are you using the default theme? Or do you have any user customizations or add-ons that may have added that drop-down arrow?
OK, I have pasted the the screenshot here: http://img.ctrlv.in/img/16/08/21/57b949d6b40bb.png
I have tested and installed Firefox on fresh machine, without any additional plugins or customization, and I see the same "drop-down arrowhead".
I am using Firefox-esr 45 on Debian linux
