I post photographs online mostly in social media. I believe Mozilla would build a bigger following if it prevented the downloading of copyrighted photographs. Facebook allows their images to be saved and I know other professional photographers who hate this feature. Mozilla would motivate the one billion Facebook users to use Firefox as their default browser if this came to pass. I realize competing browsers will stay allow Facebook users to download photos. However, the mere effort on Mozilla buys enormous public goodwill in these days of serious hacking. As the presidential campaign proves, the Internet has become weaponized. If an Internet company demonstrates an effort to protect the public on its own initiative, no matter how small, people will hear you!

Respectfully, Eugene Louie

Unfortunately, this would not be possible because Firefox would not be able to distinguish what photos are copyrighted and which ones are not.

Copyright infringement has become an increasing issue in this recent era, but unfortunately, there is no possible way to prevent all forms of copyright.

This would be better discussed in one of the Mozilla fora possibly the wish list
