Hello FF Friends.

If you don't mind helping, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am not able to paste into Wordpress text editor Visual Tab. I can paste into the Text Tab. It Doesn't matter if it's a post or page, native builder or add-on page builder.

I can paste into the Visual Tab using Chrome. My hosting company was not able to duplicate using FF.

I've restarted FF in safe mode and it did not work either.

Does this problem occur pasting very basic content? For example, if you click in the address bar and Ctrl+c to copy, it's just plain text. Can you even paste plain text into the Visual editor?

Some sites use scripting to manage pasting. Could you check whether you've disabled that feature:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste CLIP and pause while the list is filtered

(3) If the dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled preference is bolded and "user set" to false, double-click it to restore the default value of true

If you changed that, does it help?

Some reasons that preference might be false are: (A) it was a fix for problem pasting into YouTube comments (there are less problematic fixes); or (B) sites advised that it was a privacy risk to have sites monitoring what you copy/paste (it might be)

@jscher2000  !

Thank you for your help. I really appreciate your time and suggestions! Sorry for not responding sooner, I didn't get any notification of your reply.

You are correct!

dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled was bold and set to false. Now it's true and pasting into Wordpress Visual tab works!

I had switched it to false because some websites make you type in passwords and block pasting into Password fields. Which is pain with complex passwords.

Thank you again for your time!
