Why did IBM Trusteer Rapport Security Software stop working on Firefox after last update on 27 Jan 17?
IBM Trusteer Rapport Icon no long appears on the bar and does not function on firefox, still works on Chrome and Explorer. Reloaded Trusteer but still no joy?

Make sure you have the latest updates of your Trusteer software.
Try to update or uninstall and reinstall Trusteer Rapport and if that doesn't help then disable/stop the program for now.
- Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport

Well, did all that a number of times, so until Mozilla sorts it out I will not be using firefox any more, end of story.
third-party applications hooking into firefox might need to adapt for new versions. ibm/trusteer is usually quite quick to do that, but you'd need to get into contact with their support: https://www.trusteer.com/support not much that mozilla can do in this regard...
OK who is responsible, is it Monzilla or Trusteer ?? Trusteer stopped working right after the update from Monzilla?? so it would follow that Monzilla/Firefox are the problem?? Internet explorer and Chrome work for me with Trusteer so it is Monzilla who have to sort themselves out Dr. Watson.
Thanks to all who responded, got a reply msg from Trusteer with a new link to download which solved the problem with firefox. Guess I wasn't the only one, good forum which actually works.
