bookmarks gone
All my bookmarks, passwords and information has gone. I have tried to restore bookmarks but there is nothing there. I have tried manually restoring bookmarks but there is nothing there to restore from. I have no other profiles but the default profile and that is the one that has been completely reset. I did nothing before hand that would cause this I just restarted my computer as normal and fiorefox popped up as if it was a new install. Is there any where else bookmarks could be as I have done everything suggested on here and there is no sign of any information saved anywhere. It is as if firefox has never been installed on my machine until about 30 minutes ago.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Did you try to reboot the computer in case Window has created a temporary user account or otherwise had a problem?
I have rebooted the computer and the bookmarks are still gone and there is no 'Old firefox' folder on desktop. I have also checked to see if another profile had been created but there has not been. There is just the default one but everything has gone.
