my touch-pad does not work well with the resizing feature. Nearly every move on the touch-pad resizes the browser. So it is constantly going big huge small big huge huger gigantic small smaller humongous etc. When I click on the little indicator to make it normal again the next move on the touch-pad makes it do it some more. It's really annoying.

I have very little experience with Windows 10, but if your touchpad is zooming the text/images in the page you're viewing, it could be one of these issues:

  • you are swiping on the scrolling zone of the touchpad, which in combination with the Ctrl key will increase/decrease the zoom level
  • there may be a gesture equivalent to the above which is somehow getting triggered

Hopefully someone more familiar with Windows 10 can chime in.

I have had many issues with the mouse pad, so I set the computer's options to ignore the pad when a mouse is plugged in.
