Can Forefox Focus run on Android 4.4.4?

My 2 year old Samsung Galaxy Trend 2 lite (SM-G318H) runs android 4.4.4, and has limited memory space. I'd like to use Firefox Focus browser to free up memory. But when I try download the only version I can find in Play Store, it responds "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

Is there a version which can run on my phone? Or - alternatively - are there other browsers available with smaller memory space requirements than Firefox or Chrome?

Unfortunately, Firefox Focus for Android will not run on Android 4. I am not aware of an alternative.
