how do I change my email format e.g. comfortable, compact, default
A box keeps popping up asking me how I want to view my email inbox, and when I chose what I thought I was already using, it changed to something I don't want. How do I return my email inbox format to the compact, rather than the comfortable? I've pulled up options, but that doesn't seem to offer any options, pun intended, for restoring my preferred inbox formatting.

Unfortunately this is not something this support forum can help you with.
Firefox is a browser, and doesn't 'do' email.

Hi DebbieDew57, did you get the "new" Gmail layout this week? I haven't had time to sort through where they moved things. If you can't find that setting in any obvious place, you could check Google's forums. I'm sure there are many animated discussions going on these days!

Oh, that's a piece of cake : Gmail Settings => first option : 'Go back to classic Gmail' .......
