On my notebook there are already 3.8 GB data volume in the local folder; so far editable without restrictions. It is more than enough free storage-space on both of the hard disks. Is it a matter of reconfigure-ing the space limit? - And: Where could I find the point to do it / and how?

as soon as I come home from a trip, I copy the renamed (xx+yy) files Inbox and Sent from the Thunderbird directory ´Local-Folders´ into the Desktop-Thunderbird directory ´Local Folders´ from my notebook; In the then opened Destop-Thunderbird I move the mails from xx to the inbox - and yy to sent...
