I've got a managing problem with Thunderbird and ESET AV. ESET is inspecting my emails, and if something is found, ESET shows it to me as f.e. mail514.eml It cannot just delete that particular email cause all Inbox is in MBOX file. Optional checkbox for antivirus software is checked even though ESET still cannot delete some infected emails. I would like to delete them by myself, but Thunderbird is not showing me eml files, but Topics and stuff.

So how can I find infected email that ESET is presenting me as mail514.eml and delete it manualy?

Unless there's a correspondence between ESET's naming scheme and the subject, date or order received in TB, I think the only way would be to save the folder as a set of eml files (select all (Ctrl+A), Ctrl+S), then scan the folder of eml files manually to find the one that is suspect.
