When I try to view my synched Android tabs on Firefox desktop, it only lets me "add device," even though my phone is already connected.

more options

I have Firefox 75.0 for my Windows 10 laptop, and Firefox 68.7.0 for my Android phone. Both are synched to my account, and both devices list each other as being synched.

And yet, when I click on "synched tabs" on the desktop, it only ever gives me the "send text so you can install and synch Firefox" option. Out of interest I tried this, and all it did was confirm that I am indeed already synched.

Now I have seen reference on the help pages to Firefox 69 (nice) for Android, but the Play Store doesn't list an upgrade option; aside from that possible issue I've no idea why it isn't working.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Okay, I actually stumbled upon the solution, so putting it here for if anyone else has it:

Go onto the History menu, click on Synched Tabs there, and they show up on the right hand side of your Firefox window. Click the "View Synched Tabs Sidebar" at the top to lock them in place, after which it shows up on the "Synched Tabs" option under my account on the Firefox Menu. Still don't know why it needs that extra step that none of the help pages I found mentioned, but I'm glad I've got it working.
