I use YubiKey for several Google accounts and Facebook. Firefox suddenly refuse to recognize my YubiKey. It keep saying it is not familiar with the key. However, the key does work with Facebook and one of my Google account. At this point, I still can use other 2FA method to get in for mail/calendar function only. If any of one encountered something similar, would you please kindly advise. Thanks, Howard p.s. I attached a snip shot with this message as well

Hii HowardC, Thank you for contacting mozilla Firefox Support

follow these step

  • Type about:config into the Firefox address bar and press Enter
  • Search for u2f
  • Double-click on security.webauth.u2f to set the value to true. Once set, U2F will be enabled on your browser. Alternatively you can right-click and select Toggle to change the value as well.

Restart you computer or Laptop.

Thanks regards -Arman

Thank you for the message. u2f is already set to "true". I toggle to "false"; reboot; same problem. I toggle it back to "true"; reboot; again same problem. The situation has not change at all. Maybe I just have to abandon those accounts.
