I just got a new computer. My computer guru and I have worked together in making it efficient for my use.

The Create Filter From Message function in Thunderbird does not seem to be working properly, i.e., this morning, the message I told to move to certain filter would not move from the Inbox. Others have, but then I'm not sure that when a subsequent one comes in they're going to the folder created for them, or whether I'm telling Thunderbird to move it again. And some go into Junk that should go into a filter that's been created. One was Bill O'Reilly column; his e-mails are set to go into the Politics folder. Bottom line, of course, I don't want "commercial" messages cluttering up my Inbox. Any suggestions?
