Sign in password problem.
Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am an author and sell my book through KDP Amazon. Firefox is my default browser but will not let me log in to KDP. No problem with other websites including Amazon.com When I open the KDP log in page it accepts my email address but the password button has a row of asterix right across the window. I cannot delete whatever is in there or change the password via the forgotten password route. Thus to sign in to KDP I have to use an alternate browser. With both Opera and Chrome I can sign in with no problems. I have added a screenshot of the KDP log in which illustrates the problem. Grateful for any solution to this irritation. Thanks, Paul

I've had the issue several times in the past with Amazon. I played with the password generator 1 time and it did that for sometime, but I haven't had that issue in awhile. I would suggest you forget the site which will erase all logins for the site. You can then save the login again.
Just go into your history, right click on the site and forget it. see screenshot

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
That worked perfectly! Thank you so much jonzn4SUSE and cor-el, much appreciated! All the best, Paul
