BDAT is an extended SMTP (ESMTP) command which is defined in SMTP Service Extensions for Transmission of Large and Binary MIME Messages.

The Esmtp configuration may have skipped or not installed a configuration when transferring or resetting it because a new PC or piece of software is present at the moment.

The mail servers are esmtp friendly. check your configuration for the extra options that are offered to be able to use it on the relevant server, in this case Thunderbird's server.

Just a guess, but I suggest you try again without the AVG scanning. It has caused issues in the past.

This operation usually defines a nonexistent email address to the receiving party. the bounce back can be caused by a firewall if it has managed to pass through a mail server. Or in response to the server not being available.

I'm a competent computer user (though I have no idea what bareline and chunking are), and I am not doing anything differently sending these emails than when I sent the same a week ago and Thunderbird sent them successfully (before the computer reset). The only thing that has changed is that Thunderbird was uninstalled when I had to reset my computer, and then Thunderbird was re-installed afterward. And now when I reply to my family and friends, my emails are dubbed "Undeliverable." It seems to me that the new install has something different (some setting?), but I would just like it to work like it is supposed to (and like it did before).

Another interesting thing about this issue...when I first open Thunderbird in the morning, I am able to send out emails. But it seems to be later in the day that it stops sending and gives me the above "Undeliverable" message.

This issue occurs if the expected CR-LF combination has not been added but only a single function of it has been set or otherwise. Cr but no LF. Or otherwise it has to be the other way and try to change this setting into CR-LF. Or only in LF. This could be the bug in this situation.

Editor from the email software is adding a bareline feed after every made text collum. Try to change these input fields search for configuration s with CR-LF. See if your message can be send.

If it hasn't come out as Spam yet, you can change the values if you're only using Thunderbird. This is called the Wrapping process which is used as this method. And can be solved by setting its value to 0.

so that no more empty fields are placed behind a written text field automatically. So this function can be treated. And will have to be set to zero. So that messages can be forwarded again.
