Until now, my Thunderbird email account has worked perfectly, but lately I am having a problem with my Temp folder. After so many months I delete the message that are more than 3 months old. However, the next time I login, they reappear. I delete them again, and when I login, they are back. How do I permanently delete old stored messages? Ray Engel

I figured it out. I took the messages from my Temp Folder and transferred them to my Deleted Items Folder and then deleted them. They are now gone.
