Hi, I've tried to scan a QR-Code with the Firefox Scanner but I've only received a message with "invalid". It is a QR-Code for an app (Briar F-Droid Repo) I was in the opinion that Firefox can also handle app links, but apparently it can only handle http and https. Is that correct? If so, I would find it good to explicitly mention it in the Firefox documentation. It took me a while to find out that it appears to only support websites. I know that it says websites on that page, but I had the impression that it naturally supports app's as well.

BTW. I would welcome it if it would support app's as well, even though I've also found a good QR-code scanner as a separate open source app "Barcode Scanner"

Cheers, Hermann

Hi Hermann

Where could I find a QR code such as the one you mention that Firefox for Android is unable to scan?

Hi Paul, here is the Link für the F-Droid Briar Repo. You'd need F-Droid installed on your Android. https://briarproject.org/installing-briar-via-f-droid/
