Firefox now takes me to phony Amazon login-other browsers work properly

I clicked a link on the Good Housekeeeping Magazine website article that was supposed to take me to blackout blinds on amazon. It sent me to a phony Amazon website (odd fonts and layout) with the screen partially obscure. I wasn't logged on at Amazon and when I selected login, it immediately said there was an issue with the password and to re-ennter it (odd because I never had a chance to enter a passcode - it threw the re-enter password dialog as soon as i selected login). I closed Firefox without entering a password.

I ran Norton with no luck. I ran Firefox again and now always get the phony website. Task Manager and saw multiple processes associated with Firefox that seemed odd. So, I launched the Microsoft Edge browser and was able to go to Amazon, and login normally.

Can someone contact me about this? my email is [removed email from public] and phone is [removed phone# from public] Also, the phone number for Amazon support would be nice (if you have it) Thanks, Chas

I was able to use Firefox Troubleshoot Mode to log on to properly sign in to Amazon. I was reluctant to revert settings to default until I hear back from Firefox Support

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.
