I am trying to use Orbit Downloader (freeware) With Firefox and it does not seem to be working
I have installed orbit downloader on to firefox. Normally on internet explorer and my previous Firefox version orbit will install a small yellow toolbar on top of my Firefoz Window. Orbit allows you to save items while they are streaming. Normally when you begin streaming orbit will show a 1 at the top. By clicking on the 1 you can then click download and it will begin the download. The new forefox will not load the toolbar at all. Please help

I am also using Orbit Downloader's stream recorder plugin with Firefox. It works with Firefox 3.6.3, but doesn't work with 3.6.4 or 3.6.6. This plugin is very important to me. I downgraded back to Firefox 3.6.3, and the plugin works again.
Hey Steven, Thank you for your advice. Just one more thing (and you're probably going to think im a total retard who is incapable of using google) Im looking for an old 3.6.3 download compatible with windows 7. Do you know of a trusted link i can use. Orbit is shizzle and I NEED it to work lol.
Previous versions of Firefox can be found on Mozilla's FTP server. A link to the server is on this page: Installing a previous version of Firefox
There is a strong possibility that the problem with Orbit is because of "Plugin-container" which was introduced with Firefox 3.6.4. I have not tried it yet, but disabling Plugin-container may fix this problem with 3.6.4 and 3.6.6. Instructions for disabling it can be found here: Plugin-container and out-of-process plugins
I had the same problem and following the process steven posted fixed the problem completely. Thanks!
Thanks Guys,
I wish I could tell you your efforts weren't in vain but I tried both those methods and still nothing. I tried it on Internet Explorer and it actually loads the yellow toolbar but when you begin streaming the toolbar doesn't pick up the stream. No 1 no download it nothing. Think it could be something to do with Windows 7 settings. Not too sure.
Thanks for all your help guys.
