Hello

That was the first thing i read. it tells one how to delete bookmarks one at a time inside any given folder, but not how to delete the folder itsef.

Deleting more than one bookmark or folder

  1. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click Bookmarks, then select Organize Bookmarks.... The Library window will appear.
  2. In the left pane, click on the folder you want to view. Its contents will appear in the right pane.
  3. In the right pane, click to select the item(s) you want to delete.
  4. With the items to be deleted selected, click on the Organize button and then select Delete.

I would like to make a few comments to make this more helpful :

There is no way to select more than one item at a time in the right pane in the mac environnement. The delele in the organize pull down menu only deletes bookmarks. In order to delete a folder, one has to select the folder in the left pane, and then click on the Edit button and then select Delete.

It took me a long time to figure this out. I thought it might be helpful to others.

On Windows and Linux you can select multiple entries with Shift to select a range and cursor Down or a Ctrl left click to select individual items in the right pane in the Bookmarks Manager and press the Delete key or use 'Organize > Delete" to remove the selected items. Doesn't that work on a Mac? You probably need to use Shift + Delete to remove selected items.
