I upgraded my S.O. to windows 7 and I cannot find my bookmark in windols.old

Solution choisie

You need to locate the old profile folder in the windows.old backup.

In Windows the location is:

  • XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
  • Vista/Windows 7: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

"Application Data" in XP/Win2K and "AppData" in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders
