I was told I need to download IE to be able to ener events onto an online tourism calendar site?
I am a tourism organization, and I need to enter events into an online calendar of another membership organization I am a member of. They said for some reason, people using firefox cannot do this, and I need to use Internet Explorer. I really do not want to download this, and have it along with firefox on my computer. Any suggestions?

If that online tourism calendar doesn't work in Firefox, it may use IE specific coding that prevents it from working in other browsers. Nothing you can do about a situation like that except to use what other users of that calendar recommend - IE.
Internet Explorer can't be removed from Windows, so it should still be installed. If you don't have a Desktop icon for IE, look for it in the Start menu or Start > Programs. If it isn't there, open Run from the Start Menu and type iexplore in the Open command line box and hit Ok.
Or you could install this extension, which will open IE in a Firefox tab.

OK. I installed the extension, but I can't open IE - it says "server not found". Should I be opening it in a different way?
