Why cannot I open Hotmail with Firefox?
I am unable to get the sign in page for Hotmail via Firefox, but am getting the message :
"Windows Live ID is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later."
This has been happening for two days now.

Having tried the suggestions made by cor-el and by other helpful people on another Forum, Hotmail appeared as normal via Firefox yesterday morning.
I think it might have had something to do with the latest update to the FF add-on WebMailNotifier.
I always have a separate window open with three tabs, for Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail, so that I can get to any of them if I need to use them for any reason.
Before this problem with Hotmail, when an email came in on any of them and I opened via WMN [which tells me if there is an incoming], the email would open in a new tab on the window I was currently using.
Since yesterday morning, if WMN lets me know that an email has come in on any of the above and I click on the WMN "envelope" icon, it opens the Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail tab on the email window. Not as a new tab on the window I am using at the time.
I am just wondering whether the whole Hotmail hiccup was possibly due to the update on WMN?
If so, and the other people who have the problem with Hotmail also use WMN, uninstall it and then re-install, as that might solve the problem.
