A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).

You can middle-click or Ctrl left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.

I appreciate the reply... I went through and did everything you said... Everything works EXCEPT I'm a person that likes to click CTRL + T to open new tabs and that is the only time when it does not work and it continually goes to SEARCH.BEARSHARE.COM... I downloaded this stupid bear share on accident a few days ago but I uninstalled it but it still goes to it only when I hold ctrl + T... would you know why i can't fix this, even with the add on it still is doing it...
