Just downloaded Firefox to try but can't find my Favorites. It is suppose to be shown next to "Home"
Downloaded Firefox 5 to try on my desktop running Windows XP. It was suppose to transfer my "Favorites" but I can't find it next to the "Home" tab...where is it?

Not part of Firefox, you probably had an extension before perhaps called something like Plain old favorites or at least something with favorites in the name. If you have such a disabled extension you could try enabling it via the "Addon Compatibility Reporter" or with a simple configuration change.
Transferred "Favorites" from IE during the installation or using File > Import might be in a separate folder in your Bookmarks named "From Internet Explorer". See Importing favorites and other data from Internet Explorer
