Ever since I updated to Firefox 10, when I close my browser, I'm logged out of all of my saved accounts.

Twitter, Livejournal, Grooveshark, my iGoogle homepage, hotmail, various writing/poetry sites... I have all of them saved to my bookmarks toolbar for quick access -- just click and go. Then I updated to Firefox 10 and now nothing stays signed in! I was told to clear my cache (and I did). I was told to clear my cookies (and I did). I don't know what else to do. At first I thought it might have been because Google is changing their privacy policy but then after trial and error, I'm finding that Firefox is the only browser this happens in. Opera keeps me logged in as does Safari but considering I'm not thrilled with either of them, I'd like for someone to help me fix what is going on with Firefox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.

So make sure that you keep the cookies from those sites via an allow exception and that you do not clear the cookies or site preferences via "Clear Recent History".

This worked! Evidently with the upgrade to Firefox 10, all my previous settings had been changed and while I reset them back to what they were before the upgrade, I was still being logged out of everything until I went into the advanced settings for "Clear Recent History" and found that cookies and cache and active log-ins were being cleared. Thank you Cor-el.
