I have updated a plug-in (third time) and restarted my computer but it still says update.
I was asked to update my 'shockwave director' which I did. I then refreshed the page and when I checked to see that it was done, it said update. I did this a total of three times and it is still saying to me to update this plug-in. I do not know what the problem is

There's a glitch in the plugin check page today. You have the current version. More info: The Plugin Page appears to be broken. It is reporting Shockwave for Director is Outdated Version when it is the same version that is available when I try update.

have you reboot your pc after the installation? if it still not working go to programs unistall completly Shockwave clean the registry with a tool i suggest Ccleaner then reboot the pc,upadate firefox to the lastest verision, then retry to unistall Shockwave and go to the page to check the correct working of the plugin.
Have the same problem. The update takes you to the same version 12.0.2.122 that you already have. Suggest we wait for a day or two.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the help....:)
Seems I am not the only one...:) I went through the same thing with Java a few months ago-thought I never would get that fixed. But eventually it corrected.
Glad to know I also am in good company with checking my Plug-ins everyday before starting anything on my computer....I seem to have less problems with my computer than anyone else I know.
I am so glad to know you Mozilla Firefox people are out there, looking out for us....THANK YOU!
