When I add the shortcut of WWW to home screen, quality/resoluton of icon is very poor. I use Sony Experience Z1 phone. google chrome is giving me much better resolution of icons added to home screen

If you are using android tries to clear data cache and uninstall it and install it again, maybe nesecite update.

I am not sure if you understood my question. I do not have a problem with Firefox browser icon on my android phone. Firefox browser icon is having very nice resolution on my android phone home screen. Problem is when I want to add shortcut icon of any web site to my home screen then resolution is very poor I use latest Sony Experia Z1 phone with latest android OS 4.2.2

We have fixed this in Firefox 27. The favicon system was rewritten.

I don't understand how Firefox27 is going to help. I am having problem with Firefox browser for Android 4.2.2 Firefox browser icon itself has very nice resolution on my android phone home screen. Problem is when I want to add shortcut icon of "any web site" to my "home screen" then resolution is very poor I use latest Sony Experia Z1 phone with latest android OS 4.2.2 THX
