Video on YouTube won’t play Until I refresh the page? However, when the video ends okay then can not play the video again? Video plays only once then had to refresh the page in order to watch the same video?

Hi G-hot, were you able to solve your other issues with Youtube from your earlier thread, or is this an additional problem with Youtube? I think if you could list all the problem in one list it might be helpful.

Firefox 23.0.1 keeps loading the YouTube page and prevents access to My Profile

Also, did you do the usual?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first on Youtube and Gmail). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then change the site at the top from youtube.com to google.com and clear those as well.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Regarding the replay button not working, there is another thread on that where I don't think there is a clear explanation of why some people have this problem but a new workaround was suggested earlier today: How do I fix the Youtube replay feature on Firefox web browser?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

hi jscher2000 , Yes in the previous topic I think the problem is "temporarily solved " with the version of Firefox 26, but I need some time to make sure that the problem does not occur again! I have tried what you suggested, but this did not help, and as I've just delete the Flash Player and install the latest version but still get the same problem?

Run Firefox in Safe Mode did not help! However I do not have, except 2 extensions!

Even the Web page won’t load? You can experiment with Google translator to make sure that there is a bug!
