I need a feature to backup and restore the settings and emails. There may come a time that I need to reload my system and if I can just get a backup so I can restore later, it would be great.

I have 4 email accounts in TB, 2 of which are a pain in the butt to set up. In my case, I only need settings since all my mail is IMAP.

Suggest questions to ask: Back up email back up settings backup enigmail if loaded etc.

thanks for a great product otherwise.

In the form of an add-on, that would tar/zip the profile folder would be helpful.

My best is Import export tools.Which I mention in my blog.. they don't zip I don't think, but they are automatic, making scheduled backups. A bash script to compress the backup would be child's play I would think.
