Upgraded (?) to U-verse. Thunderbird accounts no longer connect/read mail. Help.
Thunderbird was working with multiple email accounts until I got upgraded (ha) to U-verse from ATT. I can no longer connect to the various imap servers or get my mail. I have reviewed all my settings and checked them against the various documentation online for each account. Help?

just try disabling the A/V and see if it might be at issue. It might not like something that changed.

Please note: the original DrSteve mailbox was renamed to #2 in an attempt to change to POP from imap to see if this helped. The should ideally only be one DrSteve mailbox. - thanks.
Sorry. I guess they would be the mail.rottell.com mailboxes. - thanks.
did you new U-verse come with an update to your anti virus? Given the MCAfee product they are giving away has just released a rather bad update, we might be looking in the wrong place.
No new software was loaded on my system. I do not use MCAfee antivirus, I do use Avast.

That seemed to do it. Never would have found that on my own. Thanks!
