I have FF set to open home page on startup, but it opens all tabs that were open when FF was shut down as well. The only way I can stop this is to set delete history upon close. This is new since the last update to FF. How do I get FF to open only my homepage at Startup.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Tried that and shows the correct home page, but FF still starts in last page viewed unless delete history is selected . On laptop I have exact same settings and works as expected.

Thank You very much. Renamed the file and restarted FF forcing it to recreate the users.js file and all it well.
